I learn things by building them.

Every one of these started the same way. I wanted to get better at something, and building the tool for it taught me more than the hobby did.

Proofing Panic

Live

The problem

My friends and I became obsessed with co-operative card games together. The good ones are all competitive or all in person. So I built one we could play without being in the same room.

What I made

A co-operative trick-taking game set in a bakery, playable in the browser in real time. The game is designed to be playable with a group of friends (or bot bakers), and there is a tutorial if you don't know the rules.

Velara

The problem

I am at the pottery wheel every week and improve mostly by accident. Nothing keeps track of what I tried, what worked, and what collapsed on me.

What I made

An app for logging practice, with an AI coach that can look at what went wrong. Built in the gaps between actual pottery.

Bread & Bloom

In Development

The problem

I bake a lot. But I also work full time and need it to fit around my day, rather than staying up till 3am so that my sourdough can bulk ferment before I eat it for breakfast. I also like to show off my bakes.

What I made

A baking social app with a pantry tracker and baking scheduler so that you can plan your bakes around your day, and share them with friends. Complete with a sourdough starter feeding reminder and pantry tracker.

ReelTrip

In Development

The problem

My saved folder is full of travel reels for places I am going to visit, but turning it into an actual plan? Took me 4+ hours.

What I made

An app that turns that list of saved reels into a real trip plan, with the places pulled out and put on a map.

Smaller things

Older projects and quick builds.

Say Hi

Working on something interesting?

If you're making something fun, or useful, or both, I'd love to hear about it. Also accepting bug reports about the card game.
